Philosophy and Science

Happy Friday everyone!

I’m off to LA to see two of my best friends and clients get married today and I couldn’t be more excited.

I got to the airport absurdly early and don’t board for another hour so I’ve been doing some thinking, this is what I came up with:

No matter what career you’re building or job you currently have, obligations and to-do lists you have this weekend, I’d like to invite you to be 2 things above all else- a philosopher and a scientist

philosopher because not enough people are asking themselves conscious questions- if there is a behavior or habit in your life that you wish was different- you’ll need to ask yourself why that is... don’t say I don’t know, don’t get angry, don’t judge, don’t run away- you’ve been doing these things- they don’t work in the long term. The first step is any process (habit change included) is clarity- and the first step to clarity is coming to terms with what is and WHY it is.

What about scientist you ask?

A scientist is anyone who practices the scientific process for purpose of gaining wisdom and knowledge. when we follow this process in our own lives- with our diet, exercise, sleep and interactions we begin to make connections between how we are thinking and our realities themselves.

By changing our parameters or altering the experiment the next time around- we will see different results- and LIFE will all of a sudden be different
